Erica founded the Embody Project in 2010 as a way to connect with herself and others—through her lens and in conjunction with personal and creative conversations—in ways that explore what it is to be at home in our bodies. Since its inception, the Embody Project has been seen in over 25 countries worldwide and the website has been viewed and shared over 300,000 times. Erica has worked with Three Flames Productions to produce a new episodic series about the Embody Project called Truly Naked Stories, now in development. Through the Embody Project Erica invites us all—as viewers, participants, and human beings—to fully embody who we are, as diverse and unique individuals sharing a complex and beautiful human journey through life.
Erica is an avid traveler throughout Western Europe, the UK, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii and has lived in Minneapolis, Portland OR, Aspen, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Williamsburg VA. She currently resides in Asheville, Western NC with stunning mountain views and a constant sense of awe and gratitude for the beauty, magic and mystery of life.
