We are editing recent footage for a KICKSTARTER film project entitled Will of a Soldier.

This Docu-Biography of WW II veteran Will Johnson is intended to follow Will back to the countries of Belgium, France and Germany where he hasn’t been since helping to liberate those countries from the right-hand seat of a Sherman tank with the 2nd Armored Division over 70 years ago.

Will is wheelchair-bound, so the logistics of flying, traveling, and supporting him and his family in their wish to return Will to these countries is no small undertaking of resources.

Will and his wife Bon are no strangers to adversity. Will has been denied access to the Honor Flight for veterans to Washington DC repeatedly due to his disability. He cannot get out of his chair of his own volition and must be hoisted up.

Funds for this project will be earmarked for telling this remarkable story of courage, resolve and inspiration through interviews, locations and personal reflections from Will, his family members, and other WW II veterans against the backdrop of 70 years of US and World history.
